Our role as Official Partner of Khaleeji 27 went beyond the advertising boards around the pitch.
Dressing the referees
The match officials at Khaleeji 27 took the field in kits carrying the Al Nasser logo, in black and in turquoise, and the substitutes' bibs carried it too.
Best Promising Player award
Mr Yousef Faisal Al Rashid, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Nasser, presented the Best Promising Player award at Khaleeji 27, a recognition of the young talent that will shape the future of Gulf football.
Closer to the fans
Around the stadium, fans could also play on Al Nasser table-tennis and billiard tables.
The first Best Promising Player
The award went to Yemen's Adel Abbas. The Best Promising Player award was introduced at this edition of the tournament, which makes him its first winner. He called it "an achievement for the nation before it is a personal one", and thanked his teammates, coaches and Yemen's supporters.
